Coping with cancerYour tips and stories

On this page, you can help others who’ve been diagnosed with cancer. Who better to suggest tips on how to cope than someone who has already been through it? Send us your tips for coping - it could be about anything - for example, how to manage treatment side effects, or how to talk to close family, friends or colleagues about your cancer.

Use the Your tips and stories contribution form to send in your message about coping with cancer. Please keep to a 500 word limit. We may need to edit contributions, but will not change your intended meaning.

If you are looking for an entry from someone you know, type their name into the search field in the top right hand corner of the screen to find their page.

What we can’t do

We can’t publish the book you’ve written! We can’t update contributions you’ve sent us before, as this isn’t a blog. We can’t put people in touch with each other. Please go to our forum CancerChat for that.

This section is to inspire and help people coping with cancer. So, it isn’t the right place for you to remember someone close to you who has died. If you would like to create a memorial page, you can do this on Cancer Research UK's donate in memory website.
